Question: I am an american citizen born in India. i have done my entire schooling in India. If I apply for an undergraduate program in USA will I pay fees as per international students or as per american citizens?

Answer: You will be considered an international student for education purposes and will pay the out of state tuition fees, which is what international students pay, unless you have an established residence in the U.S., then you will pay in state tuition fees.

As an American citizen you will be entitled to any scholarships, grants, student loans or any other type of funding an American student is entitled to.

Question: If my high school results are bad can I be offered an admission in a university in the U.S.?

Answer: Having good grades is always better for admission to a university in the U .S. However, if you are not offered admission based on your high school marks and exams it may be an option to enter a community college for your first two years and then transfering to a four year college or university. Admission requirements for Community Colleges are more flexible than large universities.
